It was an interesting history that probably few people know about. I am 75 years old and I can barely remember when female athletes competed in rodeo events - but they did.
I needed this book for research on a new cowgirl book I will be writing - it has all the info I was looking for.
I did not read this book, as it was a birthday present for a very dear friend of mine. She loved it and mentions it every time I see her. If you have an interest in rodeo, the ladies that partcipate, and their histories, please purchase this book.
I found the book very interesting and very informative with great pictures. Mary LeCompte did a great job on the research.
